What the service is
Guidance40 lets a family capture a loved one's stories, phrases, and way of speaking, and later hold conversations with an AI that reflects them. It is an AI, not the person, and not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or religious rulings; for important decisions, speak to a qualified person.
Your account
You must be 18 or older, provide accurate details, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Family recordings and consent
Before recording anyone, you must have their clear agreement. The person recorded can ask for their recordings and profile to be removed at any time, and we will honour that even if the account is yours.
Acceptable use
Use Guidance40 only for its family purpose. Do not use it for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive, and do not attempt to extract, resell, or misuse the underlying AI systems.
Subscriptions and billing
Every new account includes a 7-day free trial with full access; no payment details are required and nothing is charged when the trial ends. Silver costs £7.99 per month or £79.99 per year; Gold costs £24.99 per month or £249.99 per year, billed through Stripe or the App Store. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account or App Store subscriptions; paid periods remain usable to their end.
Your 14-day cooling-off right
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days for a refund. If you begin using the service in that window, you agree we may supply it immediately and any refund may be reduced in proportion to what you have already used.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Guidance40 available and accurate, but an AI can make mistakes and the service is provided without guarantees beyond those the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will give notice of meaningful changes. You may stop using Guidance40 and delete your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
